IBE Student Ambassador Award – Nomination Process and Procedure
The IBE Student Ambassador Award recognizes an outstanding student member who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, initiative, and commitment in advancing the mission of the Institute of Biological Engineering either nationwide or in a regional IBE student chapter. This award honors a student who has made a significant impact through chapter activities, outreach, and promotion of biological engineering as a discipline.
Nomination Procedure:
Submission: A completed nomination form must be submitted by a faculty advisor, chapter officer, or fellow student, detailing the nominee’s contributions and qualifications.
Supporting Materials: Include at least one letter of recommendation and any relevant documentation such as event descriptions, outreach data, or supporting testimonials.
Deadline: All nomination materials must be submitted to Awards Committee Chair (rama@uga.edu), Ramaraja Ramasamy by July 31, 2025.
Evaluation: The IBE Awards Committee will review nominations based on leadership, impact, innovation, and alignment with IBE’s mission and core values.
Recognition: The award recipient will be notified by August 31, 2025 and formally recognized during the IBE Annual Conference.
